New instructor added to LD staff

We have recently added Garner Lanier, this year's Oklahoma State Champion and former UTNIF top lab student, to our staff. Here is his bio:

GARNER LANIER graduates this year from Bishop Kelley in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he debated all four years of high school. He debated LD and policy and was successful in both. Garner has twice qualified for NFL Nationals in LD, where he advanced to elimination last year. He has had numerous LD successes in Oklahoma: placing first at Districts, Regionals, and State his senior year and winning numerous local tournaments. He has traveled to Texas to compete at national tournaments, reaching elimination rounds at the UT-Austin Longhorn Classic and Grapevine. In addition, he has placed in the top three of every local policy tournament he has attended. Not only does Garner have experience as a debater but also with coaching. As president of his team, he took on an active role teaching his peers. He has a great deal of experience leading practice rounds and research sessions, training novices, and assisting more advanced students through their senior years. He also worked with the students who placed third and fourth in policy at the state championship in Oklahoma. Garner is a former UTNIF student and is looking forward to working with our students this summer now as an instructor.
