Congrats to Prof. Thomas & Joan Gass!
For the second year in a row, UTNIF LD Director Stacy Thomas has coached a student into the NFL national final round. Hockaday student Joan Gass was on the short end of a 5-6 decision in the final. Congrats to Joan as well as NFL Champ Todd Liipfert of Houston's Strake Jesuit for a State of Texas LD Closeout!

Also, congrats to staff member Garner Lanier for advancing into LD elimination rounds, as well as Jenn Miller, who coached a student who broke. It was great to see UTNIF alums Jason Borque and Dylan Smith of Van High School at the tournament. Great job to you both on your qualifications in Congress and LD, respectively.
